I Don't Love Anyone
I wish I was in love. I like when things are easy and carefree. When people treat each other with respect and strive to be good human beings. What happened to that?

Glasses Crew
I think I'm too trusting. I wish men would be more straightforward and laid back. You wanna date? Let's date. You don't want to? Well, don't pretend like you do and don't make things complicated. Does it really have to be more difficult than that? Apparently it does.
I watched "The Social Network' the other night on the insistence of a couple of friends. I had been trying not see it because I'm not really a huge fan of Facebook. I found it entertaining, but I feel like I almost like Facebook less now. I also realized I have a strong dislike for college kids.

Your Favorite Feature
I'm so sick of listening to people talk about their features. Oh you love your eyes and hate your nose? That's great. Apparently, everyone else does too. . .

Cruel April Nights
I don't understand Redding's fascination with classic cars. It probably has something to do with the huge population of elderly people here. I'm fine with people liking classic cars, really I am. I just hate it when they have to shut down all the main roads in Redding to have their Cool April Nights parade. The name is somewhat misleading anyway. Cool nights in Redding?! I could understand Cool December Nights or Mild April Nights. They should really change it to Cruel April Nights because it's almost impossible not to get trapped in the middle of the parade route.

Logic Problem
Try to solve this logic problem: My bra straps fall down.
According Victoria's Secret's Fit Solutions: "Tighten them or go down a band size. A smaller band size means closer together straps."
Result: 32C
New Problem: The cups overflow and feel constricting.
According Victoria's Secret: "Try the next cup size up for a little breathing room."
Result: 32D?! That's illogical. No one wears a 32D!
Hillary's solution: Burn your bra.

WTF is up with Ninjas?
I don't get why everyone is so obsessed with ninjas now! The other day someone told me that the huge scrape on his face was caused by jumping off a couch doing ninja moves! WTF! I read up on ninjas to try and understand their appeal. To sum it up, they are basically CIA agents from 14th century Japan.
Big deal.
Big deal.

Sorry to rub it in
I am so happy to not be working retail! Especially on "Black Friday"! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and enjoyed being with their family!
If you did go shopping today, remember that Christmas is about spending time with family not about spending money!

Women in Space: A Response
This post is in response to the Popgadget article, "Women had The Right Stuff to be early astronauts, but their timing was lousy."
How could this be "the women's fault"?
The US military discriminated against women by not allowing them into their pilot training programs and then NASA only recruited military pilots. If you think that this just happens to be a coincidence or was done simply out of convenience you are sadly mistaken. NASA fully understood the implications of what they were doing. This article specifically demonstrates the types of institutionalized discrimination we've grown accustom to in America.
Frankly, I'm surprised that Popgadget (a site geared towards women) would post such an article on their site. Most readers of the original article "Why NASA Barred Women Astronauts" by Henry Spencer, would be aware of the lack of acknowledgment of sexism on decision making and the obvious biases of the author. Below the article are some constructive comments to that effect. I believe that the author of this post should have better evaluated the original article and spent more time researching the topic before propagating this offensive viewpoint.
UPDATE: Popgadget refused to post my comment on their site. If you were also offended by their article please write to them at info@popgadget.net.

Rant
I'm so sick of hearing about people's fear of socialism/ the president. Thanks for the mass hysteria, corporate news! Instead of informing people about current events and educating about proposed bills they spread irrational fear.
If you want to learn about the health care reform bill I suggest you stop following Sarah Palin's Facebook and read the real thing here.
