I just got back from seeing "Where the Wild Things Are." I really liked it. I've been taking classes on childhood development and I thought that they did a good job portraying children realistically. I thought that it was interesting how they showed Max externalizing, but didn't spend too much time showing what lead to it.
Overall, I think that it's an interesting movie for children and adults alike. I especially enjoyed the scenes with Bob and Terry.

When the commercials for this movie first came out, Asher (my bf) was overly excited about it. I on the other hand didn't remember the book.
After seeing the movie, he left happy and with all expectations met, I on the other hand thought that it was "just alright"
