My friends and I have been using the terms "gayties" and "avatarded" thinking we created them. A quick search of urban dictionary, revealed otherwise. Apparently, everyones using them! Strange.

Gayties:  Combining "Gay" and "Eighties." Used to describe the over the top fashion, music and lifestyle of the eighties, which now would be considered "Gay."

Avatarded: A mixture of the words "Avatar" and "retarded". Stupid and nerdy.
